Focus on Imerplast at K 2019

Imerys continue to develop Imerplast with extensive effort and resources.

Imerplast is a platform for recycled post consumer plastic waste that fulfills the technical requirements in a number of demanding applications. The base for the technology is a mineral that functions as a carrier of a compatibilizer, Imerlink. This concept makes it possible to use a mix of recycled PE and PP and tailor make the composition and adopt it to the actual application.

Imerplast is very well suited for 100 % usage of recycled post consumer waste for extrusion, injection moulding and wood/plastic composites. Imerplast has been granted EuCertPlast certification and usage of Imerplast in packaging makes Blaue Engel labelling possible.

ACM has been distributor of Imerplast in Sweden since the range was first launched in 2013. It’s a central part of our distribution agreement with Imerys that also includes all of Imerys Performance Minerals with focus on supply to paint, adhesives, plastics, rubber, construction and cosmetics.

Imerys will have great focus on Imerplast in their booth at the K show in Düsseldorf, October 16-23.
